The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially concluded arrangements for its highly anticipated 2026 Policy Meeting on Admissions, scheduled to take place on May 11, 2026. The announcement was made by the Board’s Head of Media and Publication, Dr Fabian Benjamin, who confirmed that the meeting will be held at the prestigious Body of Benchers Auditorium, located within the Institute and Research District, FCC Phase III, Jabi, Abuja.

This annual policy meeting remains one of the most important events in Nigeria’s education calendar, as it serves as the central platform where critical decisions shaping tertiary education admissions are made. These include the National Universities Commission (NUC), which oversees university education; the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE), responsible for teacher education; and the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), which regulates polytechnic and technical education.
